Sounthorn holds a Master of Laws (LLM) and brings over 20 years of legal practice experience in Laos, complemented by more than 30 years of professional expertise in accounting and auditing. He is a former vice-president of the Lao Bar Association, a member of Lao Chamber of Professional Accountants and Auditors and a former associate member of CPA Australia.
Having received legal training in the United States, Sounthorn combines international legal insight with deep familiarity with Lao law. His extensive experience spans a broad range of commercial legal matters, including banking, securities, investment, taxation, project finance, acquisitions, and litigation. Fluent in Lao, Thai, Vietnamese, and English, Sounthorn serves as a trusted advisor, bringing seasoned judgment and cross-disciplinary expertise to support the firm’s clients and team.
